Trading Strategies and Setups
Course Description![]() |
Institutional traders, market makers and floor traders all share one thing in common, they all use trading strategies. Trading strategies help traders to control and keep their emotions out of the trading process, more importantly their strategies provide them with their winning edge. A successful trading strategy identifies the trading opportunities, decisions, tactics and parameters for action well in advance of the trade. A strategic trader knows the probability of success, when to enter and when to exit a trade, before they ever consider taking the trade. The course presents and examines a variety of profitable trading strategies based on market price action, technical analysis, and trade setups for various market conditions. It discusses Bullish Trade Setups, Bearish Trade Setups, Gap Trade Setups, Pivot Trade Setups, and Swing Trade Setups. The course identifies the five key variables that must be determined prior to entering any trade. It provides an opportunity for traders to learn how to identify trade setups and select the right strategy for the market conditions and to learn to use the power of "confluence" to create high probability success trades. This course focuses on helping traders to develop and execute trading strategies with precision and skill. This course builds on the knowledge and concepts presented in prior strategic trading courses. |
