Understanding Fundamental Analysis
Course Description |
Fundamental analysis is the analytical approach that fundamental analysts use to evaluate the market or fair value of a company's stock. This is done by conducting a thorough analysis of the company's financial condition, revenues, expenses and earnings potential. In addition, analysts also examine the company’s market share, market image, management team and growth potential. Stock prices may rise or fall on the basis of speculation, news and rumors. However, ultimately, fundamentals rule the day when it comes to evaluating the true worth of a company. It’s important for investors and traders to have some understanding of the key financial ratios that are analyzed in the process of fundamental analysis. This course examines the key financial ratios used by financial analysts, and presents real life examples of how this analysis can be applied to various companies. It demonstrates how fundamental valuations of stocks can vary significantly from technical valuations. |
